What We do
We aim to encourage and strengthen pastors as we engage, equip, and empower them to impact the culture by mobilizing their congregation to active civic involvement.
Why we do it
Acts 20:28 says, “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood” (ESV).
The Apostle Paul instructed the leaders of the early Church to pay attention to their own spiritual condition and to the spiritual condition of those they lead. We believe God gave leaders as a gift to the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11), entrusting them to lead God’s Church. When pastors are personally encouraged and strengthened, they lead with greater confidence and boldness (Proverbs 28:1, Acts 1:8).
We believe that Jesus is the only hope for any nation, and the united Body of Christ could be and should be the leaders with the greatest influence and impact. The Body of Christ is called to be “salt and light” to our country (Matthew 5:13-14). Our objective is to activate pastors and Christians in order that we might bring spiritual awakening in our nation (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Studies show that it takes only a small increase in people of faith becoming civically involved to make a measurable difference in outcomes. For this reason, we purpose to engage, equip, and empower pastors and their congregations to walk in grace and truth in the critical issues of our country.
“When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.” – Proverbs 29:2 (NLT)
We believe that to encourage people to embrace biblical principles, we must also adhere to these same principles in the way we approach people and the work. Therefore, we believe in sharing uncompromising truth with unconditional grace. We believe in operating with the fruit of the Spirit in our work and relationships. Our Empirical evidence shows that when a pastor becomes involved with Acts 20:28 Pastors and Vision America, the average voter turnout of their church is 55% higher than the average turnout of the local community.
